Yeah, yeah, I know....

I haven't been posting much.  Lots going on, not much time.  Lets see, where to start...

USDAA trial last weekend:

This was the weekend of SWIFT.  He had some pretty darn nice runs and got 3 Qs, including his first Q in standard.  He is starting to grow up and not completely lose his mind on courses.  I was very proud of him!  He just needs a couple more standard legs and he is out of starters.  He also made his advanced debut in pairs, with Topic.  We didn't Q, but that just means we can pair again sometime.....haha.  Unless Topic moves up before Swift, which is very likely.

Quake had a so-so weekend. Didn't get the steeplechase we needed but we are up to 3 GP Qs now for the year.  Also got a standard, snooker, pairs and had a scary experience during jumpers where he choked in a piece of cheese and couldn't breathe at the end of the run.  Fortunately he got it dislodged pretty quickly, but it still scared the *&^% out of me!

This was my last appearance as chief scorekeeper.  I am now officially retired.  Dont even think about asking me....

So on Wednesday I hopped a plane to Utah for the USDAA judges clinic, which is where I'm at now.   I'm enjoying it, but I really hate the heavy homework load.  I'm sure we will get more tonight.  Got my standard courses critiqued today, my masters course and starters courses were pretty good, but my advanced course needed work.  Any guesses on which classes I run dogs in?  Haha.   I haven't seen an advanced standard course in a few years.

More later.
