Well. I have my hook and my end for my spaceship crew.
I don't have the actual Plot. "Hijinks ensue with sentient meerkats and an AI" is not Plot, it's just more Hook. I have to figure out what kind of hijinks. I'm noodling a suggestion of the Hubby's, but I've already done surprise!sentience before, so I don't think I'm going to go with that.
