A judge has dismissed the plagiarism suit against Stephanie Meyer, brought by Jordan Scott, who, apparently, wrote something, er, similar, first. Or something.
The poor man had to read both books.
Keep in mind that while (from what I've heard; I refuse to read these on general principles) "Breaking Dawn" has its own brand of frightening, frightening plotting, the Scott book is self-published (by
Yorkshire Publishing)...so take that as you will. I will refrain from editorializing.
We should all chip in and buy Judge Wright a thirty-year-old bottle of Laphroaig, right? Just so he can attempt to scrub the images out of his brain?
