Alas, only temporarily.
kurukami is leaving in a little while, and
bigsciencybrain has to go back to work today, and even the lure of Nathan Fillion being here for the Sundance Film Festival couldn't keep them from their appointed rounds.
We watched "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" last night, which was not actually a bad movie and was really freakin' hilarious, but I have odd sense of humor. I wanted to share "Jake Speed" with them, but they were tired, even though it was only 1am. Pikers... Of course, now I'm up at Way Too Freakin' Early O'Clock, but that's my own fault for staying up much later than everyone else under the auspices of "getting some writing done." Did I? Um, no. *is made of lose and fail*
We also watched the pilot of "The Dresden Files," which I quite enjoyed and can't wait for more. It's way different from the books, but it's got enough of the flavor of them, I think, to keep me interested. I would have liked a better look at his Jeep (because I'm nerdy that way), but maybe we'll see more of it later. Also, sleeping with random waitresses? Dude, Harry doesn't do that. I suppose he knew her from the diner he frequents (what happened to the Pub?), but that just totally came out of left field and was pretty jarring. But it'll be interesting to see where they go with this...
