Have received contract, payment (in advance!), and permission to shout from the mountaintops.
My unicorn weird west story, "Doc Borden's Hard-Luck Hoss," has been accepted by the lovely folk at Gallery of Curiosities! I am thrilled, because I don't write stuff in their wheelhouse very often, so it's a market I've wanted to crack for awhile. Also: audio fiction. Plus a copy for my ever-expanding and groaning Brag Shelves. (No, seriously, I'm going to need to put up another one soon--I need another very specifically-sized and -oriented piece of wolf art first.)
This marks my 18th short fiction acceptance on the year, and my 19th overall (what with the damnnovel). So, one more to go for a Career Bingo square...
