A/N: The dramatization of an actual misunderstanding and how it was resolved. Short.
Things had been going fairly smoothly. Isamu had been looking for a sword, and Eiya had been looking for a chance to meet Yue's little brother. They talked, a strange katana changed hands, and they ended up going on the same errand. Yes, things had been going quite smoothly, considering everything that could go wrong with a pair of teenage trainees hunting in a demon-infested tunnel.
A while into the dungeon, the laces in one of Eiya's shoes were cut during a semi-successful attempt to dodge a Cait Sith's sword. He could go without it, but it was a little distracting. Conveniently, Isamu happened to have a spare pair of boots he had picked up somewhere.
"Hm... I don't believe these are going to work, Isamu-san."
"Are they too big?"
"The opposite, actually. I think these might be women's boots?"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...Isamu-san?"
"...I'm sorry."
"...Haha, don't worry about it."
Eiya decided that it might be a good idea to actually take his face mount display off once in a while.
