I fully understand that most of the things that i am about to write will come off as offensive and blunt...and even harsh. But for those things i will not apologize. i have many friends who believe in a god and who practice one form of religon or another. and this is in no way attacking anybody. This is me, simply adressing the issue i have with

I think that before we can even start talking about what religion is holding back we should be discussing the "constitutional" rights that religion is NOT supposed to have. Then you can ask yourself why oh why do churches <-- as a community and business get tax breaks and exemptions. They aren't non profit organizations. They sure have a lot of golden trinkets in em adorning thier solid marble slaughter table. Hey while we're at it lets talk about a fetus for a sec, if abortion is "murder" then anyone who smokes drinks caffiene, booze, eats badly refuses to take pre natal vitamins so on and so forth should be convicted of neglect, child abuse, attempted murder.... and so on and so forth?? don't be a homo, but if your children are, you can go ahead and kill them glory be to god.. Religion is the number one cause of stupid decision making in the world. Do you think it would be possible for America to elect a non-faith president? used to happen in the old days, but then again that was when the constitution was believed in more than false ideas of the self-righteous christian right which is growing to be more and more the Christian wrong.
