As always, I only count films I see for the first time, since I'm always re-watching films. This is a record for myself mostly, but if you're interested in seeing which films I saw in 2008 and 2009, here are the links:

Pfft. I need to comment a bit more on the film. I thought it was absolutely amazing. I was seriously not expecting that good a film at all; I thought it was going to be a sort of feel good film with pretensions of something else (sort of like Mona Lisa Smile). I watched it mainly for Maggie Smith, but then the whole cast was amazing and having Robert Stephens too was ♥. And then, of course, the film satisfied my Lolita complex in unimaginable ways. Like, WOAH, I was so happy (and I totally thought of it with the correct characters but thought the film wouldn't date to go that far). It was rather risque for the time, I think (or am I completely wrong?)... you know, the themes, the sexual talk by minors, the nudity, professor/student relationship, etc. I don't know, it was simply much more than I expected, with an amazing story and script, simply stunning performances by everyone involved and highly entertaining.
