I haven't done this in a very long time but maybe it needs to be said again.
Hi there! *wave*
Welcome to MY journal.
You will notice the emphasis on "my" because that's what it is, mine.
(It's also a private journal for the most part. If you think you'd like to join my journey, please let me know.)
In this journal, you will mostly find musings and things that are satirically funny.
I joke about a lot of things, pick on myself and discuss favorite topics like firearms and video games.
I don't have filters of any sort.
Even the filters in my head don't work all that well 99% of the time.
I'm not highly educated and I'm not the most eloquent speaker.
I also suck at both English AND typing so if you are a grammar Nazi, I apologize in advance.
(I do try to use spell check. Please forgive everything else but feel FREE to help make me a better person.)
I don't ask much out of anyone for anything.
I'm usually the very last person to ask for help even.
Hell, most people have to beat it out of me to get me to ask for help.
I'm the helper, not the help-ee.
With that being said, I do ask for one thing here.
Respect.
I don't only ask for respect for myself but for respect of others that may comment here.
We're all very different people.
I don't know what I find more fascinating, that so many people have so many different views or that there is someone who shares my view.
I love the fact that we are all different simply because it opens up my boundaries.
By allowing me to see the world through your eyes, I may notice something that I may have overlooked before.
I thank you for letting me be part of your journey and you're welcome to be part of mine but PLEASE have respect here.
Much like when you walk into a dojo, you remove your shoes and bow as respect, please do the same here.
I gave almost 7 years of my life for people to have and speak differing views.
It would have been 20+ but things don't always work out the way we plan them.
I have friends here that are anti-gun, pro-drug, etc.
I don't agree with them, but I respect them and their views.
Please respect mine.
That's about all there is.
I'm just some dumb ole d00d with a strange set of morals.
I never profess to know all the answers or to be right often but I AM that guy that would protect you or someone he didn't know with his last breath because it's something I believe in.
