Doggie drama
Last night I decided to take the dogs along with me on the pre-bedtime walk. I hooked the leash on Baily's stroller & we started on our walk, as usual. Then, the dogs saw something interesting, and took off with no warning!
They jerked the stroller out of my hands. It flipped upside down, so Baily landed on his face. Then, the dogs dragged the baby about a yard or so on his face before my screams made them stop.
Fortunately, Baily was more scared than hurt. He does have an ugly bruise/abrasion above his eye, but I'm sure it will go away. Hopefully it won't scar.
I think I was more traumatized than the baby. I wanted to cry so badly, but I tried to keep calm for his sake. *sigh* It's hard enough to see him hurt himself. I hate it the most when he gets hurt because of something that I should have prevented.
