Golly, it feels great to be home! I've been home for a week now and somehow I haven't found the time to make a new journal entry. *shrugs* Well, here's the update, so quit yer bitchin.
I'm still in the process of moving back in. Lotta boxs + small room = big mess. My mom and I are gonna go garage saling to see if we can find a stand that I can put my fishtank and terrarium or computer on so I don't have to completely clutter my desk. Then there's the matter of what to do with all my clothes that I don't wear 'cept for certain seasons/occations. This wouldn't be a problem, but my mother donated my dresser to refuges. I don't feel too bad, 'cause it was for a good cause, ya know?
For the time being, my computer is to remain downstairs. The lack of a phone line in my room negates the possibility of my computer being in my room and having internet. My dad keeps saying I should just use his computer to do all my online stuff, so I keep reminding him of how much stuff I'd be forced to download onto his computer to make it even worth logging onto. For example, I use Yahoo, AOL, and MSN messengers to chat with my friends both in the city and elsewhere, so I'd have to download those onto his computer to make it worth my time.
I'm still working at the church where I've worked for the past two years (even at college, I'm still on the roster). I'm only working Sundays as of right now, until I get hired somewhere else. I'm applying to Home Depot (whom, I hear, is hiring right now at $10/hour), Petsmart, and a few local daycare centers. I've never had to fill out so many applications in my life. Then again, I've also had only one job, ever, and I still holding that job, which looks REAL good on a resume.
I'm slowly but surely regaining my social life, though my friends via internet aren't as happy for me. I've been to a choir concert, and improv performance and 2 movies since I've been home, as well as watched numerous movies via telephone with Josh, as always. We watch a movie almost ever night, it's wonderful. Now that I'm home, I've got my parents' movie selection to pick from, so there are more movies that both Josh and I have.
Anyway, I think I've assailed your eyes for long enough. Have a good weekend, y'all.
