Galveston
I had a good Friday and Saturday in Galveston. It was all together good...but could have been better. First we went to pick up my sister-in-law from Moodey Gardens. She works for Kingwood College and they took a trip there so she was all ready in Galveston. My brother had to go inside to find her and left me with my THREE nephews...man was that fun. The oldest one kept messing with the other 2. And then they were fighting over some stupid water bottle so I snatched it from the oldest one and I accidentally hit him in the face. Oops... he started crying but I really didnt care... Then when we got Irla (sis-in-law) we went to the beach. Me and Irla went crabbing while the boys played in the water. My bro fished. We caught quite a few crabs but all were to small to keep...that sucked! I caught like the first 3...made me happy cause I have never caught anything! Then we went to another fishing spot at Galveston State Park. It was like a little pond thing from water from the Gulf of Mexico. We didnt catch anything...Then we went to pitch our tent and then took a shower...boy that was a relief...Then went to sleep...the wind kept hitting our tent and scared my nephews!!! They wouldnt go to sleep! Then woke up at like 7:00...stupid sea gulls...they wouldnt shut up!!! My back hurt really bad cause the ground was really hard...I also had a headache. Then we went back to the beach and swam. We tried crabbing again but the waves were too strong to keep the bait out. But my bro fished and caught two small catfish. He used them as bait cause they were too small to keep. Then when I was out in the waves, I must have stepped on a stupid crab cause it bit me! I felt it;s pincher thing get my toe and it kinda hurt....so needless to say I went back to shore..... The wind was really blowing and it started to get real cold so my nephews were complaining...so we decided it was time to take a shower and go home...We werent supposed to leave until like 6:00 but we left at like 12:00....I was kinda dissapointed...but I still had fun! But that is something that I will do only every now and then... But like I said...it was fun! I got sunburn on my face pretty bad...and I got a farmers tan but hey... what can u do? I now feel really sick...I guess I realized that the "Great Outdoors" is highly over rated....
2morro is the picnic and church with my bro. He and my nephew are getting baptized. At lunch I asked my parents if they were going to church with us and my dad said no because he was committing a grave sin!!! Geez...what support he has for our family! We are Catholic and my bro and nephew USE to be Catholic. They were both baptized in the Catholic church so my dad says he doesnt want to be there. They now are Christian Non-denominational. I dont really see the big deal but w/e. Me and my sis are going... Then I am going to the picnic. That should be pretty cool!
Well I need to do my math portfolio...so yeah...
