Spring has arrived...
A few days ago old man winter finally retreated to make way for some warm weather. I woke up this morning feeling like absolute crap, called in to work, and went back to sleep. A few short hours later, I woke up and felt wonderful. I put some laundry and and then proceeded to sit on the fire escape with the laptop and enjoy the wonderful weather. I don't work tonight, so that means I have an entire day off with nothing to do.
I think perhaps I'll do a bit of spring cleaning. Both cleaning up my room and perhaps cleaning out my head a bit. There's been quite a bit on my mind lately.
My dad should be out of the hospital later today. For those that didn't know, he had an apparent heart attack last night, but eventually they have pretty much ruled that out. We are awaiting the results of the stress test they ran to find out for sure. One thing that did make me smile is that he told the doctors that he can't have a heart attack because he's running a marathon later this year. I can't wait to run that race with him, just hope the test comes back ok.
