Dear DJ_Lilith,

Here at GarageBand.com, we've spent the last six years bringing people together to change how music is discovered and promoted. Today, we're on the verge of a breakthrough and we need your help to make it happen.

Please call your local station within the next 48 hours:

Q106 WJXQ-FM in Lansing at (517) 699-0111

Ask for the Program Director, Bob Olson,
or, if he or she's not available, the Music Director.

Ask them to air the "GarageBand Faceoff."

What is the "GarageBand Faceoff"? We're launching a new program that will give ordinary people the power to decide which music gets on the air and stays on the air.

The GarageBand Faceoff is a short syndicated radio show that will air during afternoon drivetime on FM stations across America. Focused on aspiring bands competing for a record contract, the GarageBand Faceoff will give deserving musicians an opportunity to succeed based on how much people like their music.

Every unsigned artist's dream is to get their music heard on the radio. Despite the fabulous diversity of great music being created by independent bands, the only songs that have much of a chance to make it onto the radio are those backed by major labels.

Until now. Your phone call can make the difference. Please call now:

Q106 WJXQ-FM in Lansing at (517) 699-0111

Ask for the Program Director, Bob Olson,
or, if he or she's not available, the Music Director.
(They know what to do with requests like this.)

Ask them to air the "GarageBand Faceoff."

(If you get voicemail, just leave a message.)

We've just sent them all the background info about the GarageBand Faceoff, and we've got a team of people ready to answer their questions. Now they need to hear from you, their audience. Let them know how important this is to you, and let them know you'll be telling your friends, too.

Once you've called, please do pass this message along to your friends. Give them a chance to make a difference too.

By acting together we can make music history. Your call can help us create the music industry of the future, with decisions made by the people, for the people.

Thank you.

your humble servant,
