Wow, it's been pretty quiet around here lately. Not that I mind; I've actually been able to concentrate on my research without any distractions. I get the feeling saying that will come back to bite me.Even though I haven't made much progress fixing the Dimensional Gate and replicating one hasn't really done much good, I've become much better at ( Read more... )

Summon the weakest demon in the netherworld first, and defeat that.

Then, summon the next to weakest one.

Eventually you'll get to Baal, and by then you'll be strong enough to win.

Success!

I think I'll have died of old age before I finished doing that. Assuming the Philosopher's Stone doesn't have any residual side effects, anyways.

Then do it faster.

yeah, I think that before you try to summon Baal, you should gather your friends! True friendship can never be toppled, and any enemy can be defeated with help from comrades!!

If it's hard for you to stop studying.. maybe that is relaxing for you in a way.. To relax doesn't always mean to do nothing! Sometimes it just means doing what you like to do!

That's nice and all, but I don't think endangering everyone will be the best idea. Friendship is powerful, but...um. I think Baal is something else.

I do enjoy studying and researching! But it's exhausting.

True, Baal is quite the opponent! But Master Bigstar did a good job by himself, so I'm sure if he would have had backup, he may have been able to beat him!

Studying is awesome! I still do it even though I've graduated! I actually kind of miss cramming for class the night before a test, just so I can get that last bit of information implanted in my mind!

D...Did you see the same fight I did? I don't think an entire army of 'backup' would have done any good.

I do miss that rush, too. Trying to pack in as much knowledge as I can before a test...I don't really get that feeling anymore.

Tell me about it. I was also planning on challenging Overlord Baal, but hesitated when Master Big Star was defeated. I hope he's feeling better now...

Anyways, you're probably right about the 'relaxing' part... Take it easy; we have more chances of getting out of here by not being tired. Also, if you ever need help, just remember that there are lots of us willing to contribute in any way to get back home.

Oh, I know plenty of people would be willing to help. The thing is, I'm not confident enough in my summoning to start using it on people. The golems I use keep ending up inside of walls or similar things like that.

Oh! Uhm, summoning? W,well, it's a good thing that you know your limits... I mean, it's a sign that you know what you're doing...

Not that I'm... too keen on ending up as part of the castle.

Ha...haha, I hope I know what I'm doing. I'm the highest-ranking mage in my entire homeworld, so I hope I at least deserve the silly title somewhat. Still, it will be a long while until I feel confident enough to use people in my experiments.

Lillet...is there anything I can do to help ...lower your workload or at least help you 'relax'?

*Amoretta looks concerned, she is after all at a loss of how to properly help Lillet*

...Something?

I've been using devils to help, so I wouldn't want to scare you.

Maybe...maybe what I should do is find something else to spend my time on. I suddenly feel like I have been neglecting you.

Elizabeth is a little...rather, very vague about it. She simply said she had something for 'me and my dearest' and I could only assume she, um, meant you.

[Hugs one of the enormous books she always carries close to her, obscuring the lower half of her face, which happens to a nice shade of red.]

Thank you, I appreciate the thought. The demons here are not as bad as him, but... yes, you're not neglecting me. How can you? Love does not worry about distance.

That is what I heard Opalneria saying when she talked to my creator, that is...

[She puts one of her fingers on the book after stepping rather close to Lillet, gently pushing the tome down a bit, to peer over it]

Are you feeling well? You look as if you have a fever. Is your research tiring you that much?

If you really feel well, we can go any time you want. If not...I can fetch it for you if you like... I can just use alchemy if any demon approaches.

(OOC: Not directly replying to the dearest part, mostly because it's self evident as far as Amoretta is concerned who *her* dearest is, and also because it didn't fit in anywhere Oo Goshdarnit!)

I don't think taken Miss Opalneria's opinions on love is the best of ideas, Amoretta. I should be spending less time with all this research and more time with you.

N-No, I'm not feeling...actually. Maybe I am feeling ill. I will take a break from my research so I can relax and recover. I hope you won't mind me spending a lot more time with you for a while; including getting what Elizabeth has for us together..
