Tread lightly and carry birdseed

I have been having the best days ever lately. My new philosophy about life is that every day when I wake up I have to decide what would be the awesomest thing I could do that day, and then I do that thing. I am of the opinion that more people should try this plan.

No, no. No shame! Although appropriately, "opprobrium" (or, the feeling of disgrace for shameful conduct) is one of the GRE words I learned!

I am definitely making it my goal to go to Esperanza as many times as possible before I move. Every time I'm there I just want to make and think and write. I really hope there is a Toronto equivalent.

I'm trying to think of a Toronto equivalent, and Moonbeam Cafe in Kensington Market or Grapefruit Moon north of Bloor on Bathurst come to mind.

Oooh! I will definitely investigate these. Lately I have decided that I really like being a cafe kind of person. It's so much nicer to work with sounds and smells and just, life around!

The food at Moonbeam is terrible, though. :( Grapefruit Moon is really quite good, though. I like Victory as well. Tequila Bookwork sort of gets the atmosphere (despite the lack of (decent) vegan food). Maybe?

ALSO: when do you get here? Will it be before I go?

I have to be there on the 1st, so I'm hoping to arrive on the 31st. When are you in town until?

It almost seems like there is some kind of unholy alliance conspiring to keep us from living in the same city at the same time :(

I'll be living in Toronto in November at the very latest, no doubts!!!

I'm gone on the 4th or 5th. So we'll have a bit of crossover. I'm also going to be in Montreal for five days next week with Cathy... So! BRUNCH?

Brunch indeed! Gimme a call when you're around. I'm going to likely be insanely busy the first couple of Toronto days with buying furniture and settling in, but I'll fit you in before you leave. We'll discuss when you're here?
