It is Friday night and I am at home working diligently on crafts. Some days I get really wrapped up in doing manual tasks. Today is one of the days when it just feels so right to make knots in yarn and sink my hands in bowls of sticky dough and fold up my laundry and get soil under my fingernails. Lee has an outdoor pool?! Whoa, can he be MY boyfriend?

Anyway, on my birthday proper, I have absolutely no idea. The thing about a day-before-Canada-day birthday is that most people travel that weekend- so at the same time as lovely out of town people will be in town, many of the in town people will be away. It is a logistical concern. But I think it would be really, really, really amazing to gather up the people who aren't away and have a little pool party one day. It can be mildly birthday associated and I will bake things!

And honestly there is little more I love in life than an outdoor pool. Best birthday offer ever!

Okay, well failing any other plans, I think a semi-birthday pool party is in order for the afternoon of the 29th or 30th. Lee and I will make smoothies.

Otherwise, we'll for sure have to do some other sort of pool related thing in august. Or just... daily afternoon swims. You know, whatever.

OK, SO IN! You are for real the best ever. I will start trying to rally the troops, see who will actually be in town and etc.

And you bet there will be daily afternoon swims in August!
