I looked around, stunned, and then announced with great dismay, "I have run out of things to knit!". It won't be long before I'm one of those grandmotherly types with her ( Read more... )

That is the most terrifying thing ever! Although I have to admit, there's a part of me that thinks it would be hilarious to knit hats of all my favourite political figures and friends.

I've never made arm warmers, but that sounds like a fun and quick little project!

I totally owe you mail, and will happily send you a nice little package with "!" mittens!

xo!

Arm warmers are great, as an cozy accesory to a t-shirt or tank top in the winter, or just as something to warm your wrists while hanging around the house. Especially if you have a cold house, which I don't have right now, but which I used to live in in Ottawa.

Yay for mail! xoxo

I am almost ready to start your mitties! Do you have any colour preference? Also, I usually use either acrylic or merino for mittens. Do you have a preference between those two, or would you like something else?

Oh yay! You're the best.

Umm, I'm not sure if I have a color preference. I'm not picky with the yarn, so whatever you'd like/you have is great by me. What kind of color do you think? I generally tend to wear a lot of light blue, navy, black and different shades of brown (not all of these colors together!). What do you think?

Knitting with brown is always very satisfying, for some reason. An added bonus is it doesn't show dirt!

What about mainly brown with a different & bright colour for the "!" accent?
