So signups for the Dean/Cas bigbang have ended, and I am officially writing for it!
Kind of intimidating... I haven't written on a schedule since I took writer's craft in high school, and even when I was handing in portfolio pieces for the class I never did anything this big. I've already started, though, and I basically know where I'm going with the story, so right now I'm feeling optimistically confident. Mostly what I'm worried about is straying too far from the canon in terms of characterization... when I try to write AUs they tend to get very AU.
Anyways, I'm about 15k words in so far. It definitely needs some editing, but I'm pretty happy with it so far!
