summary: Yumie is an american who moves to japan. she finds work thanks to her neighbor who's sister owns a coffee shop. She soon finds out that they have special guests come in on a daily. Kyo is the vocalist of an up comeing vk band La Sadies, as they were about to make it big their bassist decides to quiet. He soon finds out his girl friend cheats on him. what dose this all mean for Yumie?.. Find out!!!!!

chapter 1.
It had been days since Yumie had moved into a new house, a new life style, and even a new language. She had finally lived her after high school dream of moving to japan. "Land of the rising son give me a new change of life!" she laughed at herself as it must of been weird to her neighbors to be on the roof, But this night was special, it was new years eve. In japan it was common to greet the sun of the new year with your new years resolution or promise. Yumie got off her roof and into her apartment to get ready to find a job.
In an area not so far away, people were backstage talking as others were putting guitars and drum pieces away. Nobody paid attention to a short red haired man and a dark fair haired women talking against the walls, whispers and murmurs coming from them. The women started to shed tears as the man gave her a hug and let her go. Kyo sighed as Kaoru and him took street and started to head home, only to stop at a bar at Kyo's request.
As they at the bar and ordered drinks, Kaoru looked at the vocalist. for as long as they knew one another he had learned many quirks and movements that could tell the moods of his dearest bandmates and friends.
"Whats on your mind my dear friend?" Kaoru looked to Kyo who gave an unnoticed pain look to people who didn't know him, but a noticeable to Kaoru. He sighed "Misao broke up with me" Kaoru spat his beer out that he had turned away to drink and then turned to kyo with a saddened look "why?" Kyo took in along sigh,
"She confronted me about cheating on me while i was out, someone close to us" Kaoru looked puzzled "close..to us?" Kyo nodded " Kisaki" Kaoru sat his beer glass down with a bang and started to roll his sleeves up " that bastard! i knew he was up to no good" Kyo sighed more "calm down Kaoru, she told me that Kisaki would be quitting his membership of being our basis tomorrow".
Kaoru sat back down dumbfounded "holy christ.. this sounds as if it was planned" Kyo sighed once again and looked to the window to see that morning was coming. "Maybe" he said softly, Kaoru gave a "Pfft" noise "what a shitty way to make off on a new years.. well"
he raised his beer glass "to a better new years and finding better people!" Kyo raised his glass and clinked them.
