Impossible=Been there, done that

Ok, if *anyone* whines about how "Coulson sure looked dead to me" and how unrealistic it would be for him to turn up in a secret hospital bed somewhere, so help me… I would direct your attention to Fear Itself/Shattered Heroes Captain America 7.1.

Let me summarize for you: Bucky (standing in as Cap America) gets well and properly killed "on screen" in battle doing heroic shit. Cut to an evacuation plane and a still barely breathing Bucky being rushed off to a secret hospital to receive the remainder of Fury's long-life potion. Fury does this why? Because he needed to rally Steve back into being CA to win a war and what would whip up his sense of duty more than thinking Bucky is dead? Bucky is cool with that because he's not front line kind of guy and goes off to lead a quieter life, leaving most of the Avengers to think he is toast. Oh, and did I mention, he and Widow are thing? I find that intriguing…

Interestingly enough, Fury giving up his potion leads directly to the changeover to movie-fury as later in the series… Battle Scars.

Now I am bored. Because they will have to use a recycled storyline and that's just lame.
