1) I don't suppose any of you recorded that Greatest American Hero parody that just aired on Adult Swim...? It was frickin hilarious and me wants preciouuuuussss. Yeah, Bobby actually did the voice for Maxwell - it rocked.

2) I do intend to respond to everyone on yesterday's ProsWatch post - today was long and hard... I didn't have time. Perhaps tomorrow.

3) Zelda: It went better than I prepared myself for. Zelda is just too worn out and weak to have worked herself up into her usual lather and took the long car rides and two hours *alone* at the vet (being shaved and scanned, etc.) really calmly. It was a shocked, glassy-eyed kind of calm, but I prefer that to the hysterical, frantic panicking cat I usually see on occasions like this. As far as the test went - She's far from fine but there are no dire, OMGCANCER signs and I'm out of the zone of considering that she may need to be put to sleep because of what an advanced cancer result would have required. However, there is pancreatic swelling in addition to the fatty liver and she HAS TO EAT or she *will* die. And there is no guarantee it *isn't* cancer - there are long, boring reasons why the unltrasound may be hiding cancer and why it's not really possible to test for it at this point... But the bottom line is, she can still pull out of this and I'm still worried about being away next week but there's a good chance she will *live* through it and then we can get down to business. Starting tonight we are on to force feeding (with syringe), vitamin pills and shots, and severely pumped-up foods to get some nourishment in her.

So, I'm still crazy with stress and worry (force feeding did *NOT* go well tonight) but I'm completely looking forward and not struggling with life and death issues like I was this weekend. Let's see how the next day or two goes before I make any long range plans.
