Proswatch Community Viewing: Blind Run

I have the hardest time reconciling certain episodes in my mind - The film stock and fashions and styles went through such a drastic shift at some point in the first two years... And then the actual airdate order jumbled all these up and we get some that have a *really* 70s feel to them, mixed in to the ones with an 80s feel... So I had to double check and make sure this was the right episode for this week because holy cow - This one sure looks like we should have watched it way back at the beginning of season one!

Anyway...

Bodie belly. :::sighs:::

How pervy is that look Doyle gives Bodie when saying, "We're fitter than we've ever been."??? :::evilchuckle:::

I've always liked that handshake scene with Cowley and the Lads - It feeds into my relationship with Cowley - I've always liked the view that Cowley is always on the razor's edge of being cold/manipulative and consequently, untrustworthy. I like straddling/playing with that line. And I love the darkness of the episodes (Operation Suzie is another) where the Lads are hung out to dry by their own camp. I'm just twisted that way.

I always love the side-agents... Charlie is a great one. We get so much of him and then the whole angst thing when he gets shot. :))) I love that whole shootout scene with Bodie and Charlie, how it's so desperate and end of the road (even though Bodie realizes they are safe at the very end) - Bodie blowing the shit out of the baddies car out of frustration as they retreat.

LOL! Love the, "Can we go? Yes, but not too fast.." bit in the car. :)))

One of my very favorite things about this episode is when the Lads get separated and Bodie absolutely loses his shit at Cowley... And Doyle shows a bit of strain at being on his own too. I just love how desperate these two are without each other.

Ouch. That poor, gorgeous car... :::cries:::

And poor Tinkerbell. Man, that sucks.

Um... What *is* the deal with that patch on Doyle's ass? I mean, I know some people are cheap and hate to shop for clothes but *really*.

Doyle calling Cowley "bid daddy" in his sultry-voice is just wrong... On so many levels.

My very favorite moment? Series-wide, actually... Lew at the end with the bit about Phillipa's phone number. I don't care how many times I see this one, I completely fall to bits watching Lew's face during this. SO. MUCH. LUV.
