Proswatch Community Viewing: Not a Very Civil Civil Servant

I'd much rather be at Nattercon this weekend (with the rather large contingent of Pros fans we are used to seeing around here) than watching NaVCCS, but oh well.

I have surprisingly little to say this week - You'd think I'd love this one, with it's in-depth exploration of corporate ethics and all... And Cowley being his rightious, moral self... But it just never really gets off the ground for me.

Just about all I can really say I love about this one is how much of the episode is filmed out "on the street" - Going into real shops, into real apartments, in real clubs, etc. It gives the whole episode an expansive, realistic feel to it. I've always especially loved the chip shop scene... It's so gloriously *organic* and real - One of the tiny, insignificant things that makes this show so awesome... Even when everything else falls a little flat.

The only real moment of squee is the fencing (and the banter after the fencing,) but it's always been so oddly out of place/character for the Lads, I tend to forget about it.

And that's it. That's all I've got for you.
