How strange...

Ok, I found this in the news archive at Eye of Horus (see statement in bold):

-----------------

5 NOVEMEBER 2007 | MERCHANDISE | SERIES 3 CD

But you don't need reminding... however, DOCTOR WHO SERIES 3 soundtrack is in all good record shops and online retailers now.

Editor's comment: Amongst the generalised insignificant (the catchy hooks of SERIES 1 and to a lesser extent SERIES 2 have been lost in too much orchestration - with both a lowercase and uppercase "O") "noise", there are a few gems that truly stand proud.

And the track from the forthcoming Christmas Day special? A homage to the late Kirsty MacColl (who released an album titled, TITANIC DAYS) and the Pogues' epic, THE FAIRYTALE OF NEW YORK track.

See the *asterisk ratings in the track listing below.

Following last year's release that was the ultimate iPod soundtrack for all WHO fans, SILVA SCREEN MUSIC is releasing DOCTOR WHO SERIES 3 soundtrack by Murray Gold (conducted by Ben Foster).

It includes the "song" from the forthcoming 2007 Christmas Day drama special, VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED.

The single CD was released on 5 November 2007.

The track list. (snip)

Who wrote that note?  What is their basis/support of the statement?  Because if it's true...  OMFG how cool is that???  And creepy...  Since I found this by googling for pictures of Pogues concerts in a desperate attempt to see what I should wear to this damn thing...
