Checked in
I'm here at the hotel and while CA has clearly checked in as well, no sign of her yet... Which is odd, as her key is on her bed. ???
But, oh, JOY OF JOYS - This hotel has TV's with input ports which means the three of us will have Who (and a pile of other DVDs I brought with) at any time of the day or night! Yay!
The hotel is pretty swank - Although I haven't checked in and seen the convention area yet. Hopefully the wireless (which I'm paying through the nose for) will be strong in the places I intend to be in the next three days. I'm just going to hide in the room tonight, I think - It's going to be a long weekend and I could use the down time. If I'm lucky, CA is as much of a party animal as she used to be and will be out until the wee hours of the night. ;-)
Fangrrl, I'm thinking you're already on the road but if not... We have a DVD player at our disposal, I have all the Who and Torchwood eps on me, I have a laptop and internet access, and I'll have the airmatress set up for you at the back of the room (by the window) for when you sneak in tomorrow morning - The bed is yours after that.
In other news... Brand. Watched it on the bus down, finally. OMGAWESOMESQUEE. And how refreshing to watch something written by someone other than Shakespeare for once - Not that he doesn't rock, but there *are* other writers out there... If someone would just let the BBC know?
