Richard Long: Twilight Zone
Found a few moments to watch Richard's episode of Twilight Zone, Number 12 Looks Just Like You. Wow - awesome episode! I really, really loved the story and all the portrayals - Damn, Twilight Zone was an amazing show!
And what a character actor's dream! Richard actually gets to play four parts. Since the premise is that the four characters are identical in looks, Richard must play them all differently to illustrate the character's personality differences. Interesting.
First he plays chummy, go with the flow Uncle Rick.
Then he's Dr. Rex who has a funny habit with his finger.
Then he plays Sig... Sig is the government baddie and speaks in a pseudo-Nazi accent. Which is kinky enough, except he ups the anti by saying things like:
"Ze introduction of *smut* into zis interview vil not help your case, young lady. Not at all."
I'll be chewing on Sig for some time... ;-)
Fourth character is just a quick walk on as Tom. Dig the smile!
