I almost got hit by a car today in front of my house. Some Chinese guy who was not paying attention lurched his car forward while I was walking in the middle of the road. If I hadn't scooted my ass with quick reaction, I would have definitely been smashed under that car. And all he did was try to smile and nod as I glared at him.
