I am pissed
OK, I'm going to rant here because right now I am really pissed at so called Democrats. I know it may lead to me getting flamed, but right now, I don't really care. I am DISGUSTED by the number of Hillary supporters who are either voting for McCain or say they are undecided. I am disgusted by the number of them who are bitching about Joe Biden's selection as Vice-President. Is he a man without flaws? No. However, he is a very capable, intelligent man. I have seen him bashed as being sexist and a racist. All by liberals. WTF?
Let's be honest, the only way they would be happy would be if Barack Obama announced today he was going to renounce running for President so that Hillary Clinton can run in his place. To all of these people I say, "GET OVER IT ALREADY!" She lost, he won, and that's it. Stop WHINING about how Hillary got screwed by the media. I'm not saying she didn't, but the race is over and a winner was determined. At this point, the whining is nothing more than sour grapes.
Do these people honestly think this country can survive another four years with a president like John McCain? The man will probably get us in a war with Iran. Do you really want birth control to become illegal? Do you want the Supreme Court packed with men like John Roberts and Samuel Alito?
It makes me ashamed to be Democrat when I see that the party is gravely in danger of shooting itself in the foot once again.
One of my aunts is among this group. I cannot wrap my mind around their "Hillary Clinton and NO ONE ELSE!" attitude. Do they completely lack any sort of foresight? If Hillary had won, I would be disappointed, but on election day I would have voted for her, no question. There is just too much at stake in this election for another Republican to be elected to the White House.
I know a lot of baby boomers were hoping to see a woman elected President. I want to see that as well. It WILL happen someday. Just not this year. SO SACK UP AND VOTE OBAMA!
