I really did like this! I adore everything dark and bittersweet and beautiful, and yes, this was beautful indeed.

Kinda like dark chocolate, isn't it?

I think these two might be my favorites of all I've done. So far, anyway. You just can't beat a good legend.

Or the death of the lives that created the legend.

The's body spasmed, then relaxed. Holding the limp corpse tight, Sands set the timer of the explosives in the bag. They weren't going to be taken and he had no intention of leaving anything for the Cunts In Action to put on display.

He could hear footsteps moving their way. Sands cursed at the timer, trying to remember what he had set it to. He had a maraichi to find in whatever hell they wound up in and can we fucking get *on* with it already?!

The explosion took out two city blocks.

Whoa. That was really really powerful. I adore this image!

Glad ya liked it. I've wondered if I ended that too abrubtly, but then, explosion. Isn't that just a Sands-way to end a fight?

Oddly enough, the first thing I noticed when I read your comment is- I spelled mariachi wrong. ::fixes fic::

Hee. God, I hate it when I do that?

And no, the ending was awesome. Not too abrupt at all.
