obsessiveicons is the best icon community in several galaxies. They hold icontests. I entered two icons in their latest challenge, not for a half-second thinking I'd even get noticed among the plethora of beautiful, extensively detailed icons which show up there. One icon got fourth place, and the other got the first honourable mention. And I was the only one to win two prizes (I think). And there were a hundred and eight other icons entered. And they were all frelling amazing. And mine so totally did not deserve anything. At all.
I PLACED TWICE IN AN ICONTEST AT OBSESSIVEICONS AGAINST A HUNDRED AND EIGHT OF THE BEST ICONS IN THE WORLD ZOMG.

Oh, and: My mum tricked me into getting glamour photos done last weekend. (She made me do it! It's not my fault!) I just got one of the photos back.
And, just in case you're under any delusions that I look like this all the time--trust me, I don't. I am not at all related to this pretty person in the red hat. Really. o_o
