Ityme the First: NEW COMPUTER OMG!!!1 I am, as we speak, seated before the brand-new computer, which has now been set up and connected to the Internet! (Well, not seated before the computer specifically. Before the monitor. And the keyboard. But still.)
So now I have Internet access. YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!1
Ityme the Second: I've now officially been to the Barnes&Noble about twenty miles away, and I think I'm in love. O____O It's GORGEOUS. It's like Chapters squared. Almost every Pratchett book. Half a shelf of Cherryh. Three shelves of Tolkien. Paperweights in the shape of ampersands. And the little coffee shop has mocha frappucino which almost rivals Tim Hortons' Iced Cappucino. (Not quite. But almost.) I could live there.
I picked up an application to work there. I know this is the absolute worst time of year to be looking for work, but it wasn't as if it could be helped. Besides, I think I might just keep spamming them with applications until they finally give in just so I'll stop. I think I'd pay them to hire me....
Ityme the Third:
Little!Rosie. Cute, wasn't I? ^_________^;
Oh, dear Eru, what happened?! My official 'college student in spirit, if nowhere else' photo. (If you'll notice, I'm holding Pratchett's 'Jingo', a v. good book that I highly recommend. ::pluggity::) And yes, I'm wearing a Groucho Marx nose and moustache. Don't ask. Really.
OMGKITTIES!!!1 The one on the couch-back is Butterscotch (had him since I was two but had to give him away when we moved), the pretty calico is Charlotte Brontë (also known as Ali, also known as Tiger; she ran away--possibly looking for a house where she knew what to introduce herself as), and the grey-and-white one is Nerys (she's ::my:: kitty).
More OMGKITTIES!!!1 The black-and-white one is Mewsic, the relatives' cat who moved in with us after being told she couldn't stay upstairs because someone's best friend was allergic to cats. She's surprisingly affectionate and unselfish, for a cat. Although I think this may be because she's discovered that no matter what I'm wearing, she has the fur colour to contrast it.
My wall in the room I share with Nenya.

c) My treble clef. ::utter absolute treble clef love::
d) Poster for the musical I was in last spring.
e) There is no e). It got...um...destroyed. By the supersoldiers.

i) Drawing of Mr Lunt, as one of The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, from the inestimable Veggie Tales. By...me. ::grins nervously:: I did that in ninth grade, and was always fond of it....
j) OMGADORABLE painting of Master Samwise Gamgee, especially for me, by
nenya_kanadka. :D :D I love Sam....
k) My canvas hat, which has a ball of baby velvet yarn hidden inside. This is a long story.
l) Damar's bloomers. So is this, but you probably don't want to hear this one.
And, of course, my favourite of all of them. I drew this as a Christmas card for a friend. IIRC, the inside read 'Here's Joe Cool, picking up chicks at the ski lodge over Christmas vacation....'
