One a.m. natterings....

I have just recently discovered that I MAY BE RATHER CLOSELY RELATED TO GEORGE W. BUSH.

Yeah. It's just a theory. But...well, we got this book out of the library, called "American Dynasty", about the political/business connections of the Bush family dating back four generations or so (which is turning out to be very well-written, and all factual and not-totally-biased-in-either-way and stuff, so I totally recommend it). And in the beginning it has this family tree, going back to Dear Dubya's great-grandfather(s), (one of) whose name is George Herbert Walker. His son is George Herbert Walker II, and his son is George Herbert Walker III. And of course, the Dubya stands for Walker, and the Haych Dubya (as in George H.W. Bush) stands for Herbert Walker. It's a very popular Shrub-family name. So my sister remembers that some guy dating back a few generations on my mum's side's name was Walker. So we ask my mum what her grandfather's name was, and she mentions casually "Oh, yeah, his name was Herbert Walker...."
Now, of course, this may (pleaseohpleaseohplease!) be just coincidence. But then again, it may NOT.

In other news: If I wasn't already convinced that Nicole deBoer was an incorrigible heterosexuality thief, these pictures would totally persuade me. O_O Shiny black leather....
(Not to mention my latest fannish semi-lust object, Nightwish's lead singer.... No, no, I'm straight, really. o_o)
