Alright! r_u_strong_enuf, your package is on its way. The other two and my grandmother's mammoth box of stuff will be sent in the morning. I also got the ISBNs for my books next semester. Has anyone else had to buy a specific calculator for a class? I have to get a Casio something for math next semester which really sets me off because I already have a beautiful blue TI-83. I decided to swing by the registrars and see what I would need to do to get out of my Exceptional Child class and into music appreciation. It took her all of half a minute to change my schedule. I'm taking a music class next semester!!! And I made a 94 overall in biology -- how do you think my day went? :) Campus was practically dead. And gemini_1985 -- I got your card today. Sat in the parking lot reading it after all of that happened. Another college question: Has anybody sold your books online? Anything I should know? Half of my books weren't on the buy back list and I didn't go to that anyway so I'm just going to sell them online and get next semester's online, but I thought I'd ask anyway...
The local classic rock station is giving away $45 gift certificates to Outback once a day or so, but the catch is you have to sing a Christmas song for it. Who thinks I should do it? I ain't shy... I've been working on my Christmas stuff since July. I just don't want to seem like a total show off, then again it sounds like so much fun...
It's getting down to 22 degrees tonight. I know I have some spiritual people out there and as stupid as it sounds, would you please pray or somehow otherwise send good vibes to whoever you believe in that the pool pump won't break down tonight? We haven't drained the pool to close it ever since we started having problems over the winter... we used to bring the pump in but then we had problems hooking it back up and our sand filter cracked one time. So we've got it running when the temperature drops below freezing and it's been making some weird noises lately. It's been rebuilt nine times in the past... 16 years. They don't even make pool pumps in 3/4 horsepower anymore. And hopefully our pipes won't burst tonight either. It's already 36 degrees out there.
