Carl Cali Thanksgiving!

Well, this Thanksgiving went well! It was great seeing Carl for Thanksgiving. I miss him already! The dinner went well and it was awesome eating with Carl, Jake and Rob as well as fun seeing and spending time with the aforementioned plus Will/Bill, Travis, Mike, Ryan, and Mallory at the movies as well as Isaac, Josh, Josh's little brother who's name I am misplacing, Sheila, and all the other wonderful people who I spent time with while I was in California. The turkey turned out well enough for the actual dinner but I messed up the pie which I usually do more than well and I had never cooked a turkey by myself before. We also had potatoes with yumminess in them, green bean casserole, gravy, stuffing, cheesecake, pineapple (which I also tried to make a turkey center piece out of), there was cranberry sauce on the table, and anything else which I may be forgetting. Jake was fun to talk with plus meet and Rob's art was delightful. He painted the statue of liberty Dali style walking and blowing bubbles with a pretty background because she was trapped or something cool about needing to be free in one interesting piece. I gave Carl a few back massages which I think that he liked and I love seeing him happy. It makes me more than happy to see him happy. I miss him! Plus he is so nice to hug. So lovable, good to tell things to, a good hugger, has a cuddly chest, and other unique Carl goodness. I am confused about friendship and love perhaps but time will tell what should be. It's nice to have seen where he was living on a different note. It makes me feel settled in knowing that he is OK out there. It was a man cave like he said, you would have to see it to get that. The pool and back yard are amazing! Mr. Smith seemed nice too! Off the record Carlton liked driving the Ford Mustang Convertible that I rented. On the way there I sat next to nice people and talked just about the whole way with them. I sat next to two little kids on part of the ride home and two people from New Zealand for the other part. The little kids and I made a cute story and the boy, Jacob, crawled up on my lap to fall asleep for a good part of the plane ride towards the end, Awww! Here is the story of Jill, Outer Space Man, and Fluffy by Danielle, Jacob, and Becky. (I was Fluffy and we just rotated writing sentences.) Jill went up the hill. Outer Space Man cast a spell on Jill for sleep. When Jill woke up she had a lot of energy. Fluffy the friendly polar bear wanted to be friends with Jill and Outer Space Man. Jill played together with Outer Space Man and Fluffy. Outer Space Man cast an energy giving spell and other good spells. Because Outer Space Man and Jill were so nice Fluffy gave them each yummy cake and ice cream. Jill loves Fluffy. Fluffy is shy to meet Jill. But Fluffy still meets Jill and they have a tea party where Outer Space Man saves the day! Jill likes Fluffy and Outer Space Man. Outer Space Man makes a cake for Fluffy and Jill. Fluffy found snow and made a snow castle for her new found friends. Jill likes Fluffy the most! Fluffy and Outer Space Man blast to the sun and have a great adventure before their space ship burns up on the sun and they are rescued by Jill back to earth. Fluffy goes to the park and makes a nice picnic for Jill and Outer Space Man. THE END. I also sang to the kids and we played at other things. Danielle was a good listener. A woman who sat behind me on the trip back told my mother that I was an angel for keeping them quiet as they didn't have parental supervision too, which my mother more than loved. Happy sigh, I am sure that I am leaving out some juicy tidbits of detail wonder but I will just leave it at this for now. I hope it was just as happy for all who read this and would love to hear how your Thanksgiving went if you want to leave that as a comment in return. Oh, and the part of our family and friends who we usually spend Thanksgiving with might have a fake Thanksgiving just to spend time together. The dog and my family are happy to have me back. Good times!
