absolutely, there were tons of kids there! the youngest i sw was probably around 9-10. the key is to make sure they a) have clothing covering their entire body (the strikes sting and will leave a welt on bareskin, and b) have a sturdy facemask (the most commonly used is a dirtbike mask).

but yeah, the kids did well, they're hard as hell to hit :-)

they'll love it, it's a blast :-) the folks i played with were all of a nice attitude, and there are refs on the course to dispel any disagreements over who hit whom.

Right on. It's so awesome to have a creative outlet like that. Even though we're both passionate about our writing, I think it's healthy to have another creative outlet that is less cerebral and a bit more straight from the gut or heart. That's partly why I got into photography. I was putting all my creative energy into writing and it was good therapy for me for a while but at the same time, I felt the need to express myself in a non-word medium. The results aremixed but I'm having fun with it.

Definitely lemme know if your band is going to play and I'll be there to show my support :)

thank you, i surely will :-)

i've always been a proponent of having as many creative outlets as possible, this one in particular has been on hiatus for five years, it's nice to play again REALLY nice :-)

be sure to make the photography venture public, i know betty and i would both be interested in seeing your work!
