Got Stoned and I Missed it
I know that everyone has been waiting for an Owen update, and now that we've gotten into something of a pattern I thought I'd share. His surgery was completely routine and he stayed at the hospital overnight, conning snuggles out of his night nurse. He doesn't get to walk on his own for another five weeks, or do anything but go out to use the facilities and go get water. Needless to say, this is not Owen's natural state. He doesn't see what having a broken leg has to do with getting to chase squirrels. To combat this, he has a really large supply of sedatives, I feel a little guilty about drugging my dog, but it sure as hell beats torn stiches and bone infections. Thanks for everyone's good thoughts. If you don't here from me much in the the next couple of weeks, it's because I'm out with my doggie handbag.
He's going without the collar at this point. He was banging it into things and knocking himself off balance.
