(no subject)
Been a while since I wrote anything...so I will.
Cooking school is awesome. There really isn't much to say about it except that the people I'm with are awesome and I'm learning a lot. I also have so much homework all the time i don't know how to really get it all done on time.
Work is going very well today, I've developed friendships with a lot of the waitresses and I think I may actually be liked by one of them. Just today I was told a review was written about me, which usually means that a raise, a promotion, or both are soon to come. Talks of promotions for me have been frequent, so frequent in fact that most of the waitstaff knows about it before I do. My manager yesterday told me how much he appreciates my work. If that doesn't make you feel good I don't know what will.
I'm currently working 5 days a week, which is usually just under 40 hours, so basically full time. I'm also at school 4 days a week. I run a very scheduled life right now.
Monday: Class till 1:30, work at 5 till close
Tuesday: Class till 1:30, do homework, chores and relax until dollar bowling at 8:30
Wednesday: Class and work like Monday
Thursday: Class till 1:30, bowling league at 7:30
Friday: Work 4 to close
Saturday: Work 4 to close
Sunday: Work 5 to close
Rinse, repeat
In recent news my car failed and got a flat tire, the other tires were also pretty worn and I had to buy a complete new set which was 350 dollars, and I also have to get my car realigned whenever I can afford to. So thats what all my last paycheck and the upcoming paycheck are going towards. But that's life.
