(no subject)
So my car got hit sunday by someone, took off my right side mirror. Left no insurance information. Clearly, I was having the best weekend ever.
However good news did come out of this weekend, over winter break a band is being assembled and I'm going to be singing and playing lead for it. We will be in a home recording studio, so there will be things for people to listen to. Also, my boss said that when I return that I will be working more creatively when I get back. Everyone in the restaraunt and myself took that to mean that I am now a prep chef and my days in the dish pit are numbered, or finished. Either way, I'm living out my dream.
Surgery tomorrow, just got back from all my tests. I expect that they'll come back clean and perfect. I'll be headed out to surgery at 9:30 and then i have no idea after that, plus i probably won't be awake for most of it. I'm taking today off because my doctor recommended that i do nothing and i want to. Its kinda funny that my surgery is almost like a vacation for me, its nice tho, I haven't actually relaxed in a very long time.
