But, alas, it's FRIDAY! Woo hoo! Yes, it was super to have yesterday off and kick it with Greg and actually get to see the fam, it sucked waking up at 6:30 this morning and saying goodbye, but there is some good. All day yesterday I kept thinking it was Sunday. I knew I had to come to work this morning. No big deal. I was about ready to dress up and prepare for a new week. Then I saw that my laundry really needs to be done, and I was upset that I didn't get that done over the "weekend" cause now I would have to scrounge for something clean to wear. Then I would remember it was Thursday, and it's casual Friday today, and I would relax until I forgot again and would go back through the semi-panic of not being ready for the week. But...it was a super day off. Started with Lunch on Wednesday. Greg took me to Red Lobster, home of cheesy biscuits. YUM! Finished work, then met him at my house. Dinner at Yum Yum Tree (the jewel of Brighton), walked around the Mill Pond, then bought some Woodchuck. Went home, watched the Tigers lose, then watched a movie. Woke up around 9:30ish, lounged, showered, made lunch, then we headed out for disc golf and more yum yum tree. Ice cream this time. Disc golf at the high school is fun. It's a very small course. The longest was about 46 yards. All straight shots, except for 4, which is hidden in the tall grass. Went home and made tacos, ate with the parents. chilled the rest of the night, then he left this morning when I left for work.
I got a surprise at work today. The FedEx guy shows up, and I am the one to sign for stuff. So I was thinking it would be blueprints like usual. No. Flowers and a stuffed frog. For no reason. I am one lucky gal.
Now it's time to play catch up with the work I missed on my day off yesterday. Ready for the weekend!
