The first thing Charles notices when he walks into the greenhouse is how cold it is. The greenhouse is not supposed to be this cold. And rain isn't supposed to be coming in.
The windows are smashed.
All of them.
There's a green broom-handle on the ground, next to some barely turned soil.
What happened. Why would anyone smash the greenhouse?
His nose is no longer a sensative thing. It's just a human nose. It can't smell anything.
Blood. Gunsmoke.
The rain continues to wash down, and he heads back to the bar.
