Grad School

Well, I am moving!
I have been accepted to the graduate school at Western Illinois University where I will be studying/working towards an MS in College Student Personnel! I also have accepted a graduate assistantship in the Provost's Office working with the First Year Experience program where I will be managing a Peer Mentor program, which has designated peer mentors in first-year courses throughout the university. I'll be working on selection, training and assignment of these peer mentors as well as other co-curricular activities. The assistantship pays full tuition.
I'm really excited about it. It came down to a decision between Western Illinois and Grand Valley State University in Michigan, which were my top 2 choices to begin with. I got an offer at GVSU but decided to go with Western because I like the academic program more there.
I can't believe I will actually have masters degree!
