The weekend
pavanne was on her way back to Cambridge but stopped in for lunch, which would have been Chinese had any of the restaurants in the area been open on a Saturday lunchtime. Ended up in a pub drinking pints of Old Speckled Hen, sitting by a fire and generally being relaxed, which was lovely.
Reset our broadband router in the evening, which resulted in (due to a lack of remembering the password) no internet access. Saved, thankfully, by the unprotected wireless available in the corner of the lounge, so was able to keep in touch with people until I got in contact with freedom2surf this morning. We're back now, but the day and a half without 'net meant Jason and I actually got some things tidied up and some work done.
So, I'm off up to Cambridge on Friday to see dunkyb and king_of_wrong and mebbe l_ren, chronitis and so on...and then see pavanne on Saturday, which I look forward to immensely. She'll have finished her exams by then too.
