pavanne came down from Cambridge for the night yesterday for a colleague's leaving do. I hadn't seen in her about a couple of weeks and I really missed her. It's strange how lonely I am at times here, despite having my job and work friends. Just being able to spend 18 hours with her made a great deal of difference.
I drank 5 pints last night, and tonight was our Last Friday of the Month. This involved a pint of stella, two (mebbe three) double vodkas, a tequila slammer, a tequila-and-kahlua mix (which is far nicer) and then...nothing. So I came home to sleep.
pavanne and I went out for Vietnamese on the way home last night which was nice, and not too expensive. Although it was rather spicy - even after 5 pints ;)
Run London means I ought to be on an alcohol ban tomorrow and Sunday which, really, is not a bad thing.
