What's going on?
My company moved across town (down on South Parkway in the old Winn-Dixie for you Huntsville/north Alabama folks.) I like being on that side of town, even if it's a longer commute. It's great to walk out the front door and see the wooded hills and blue skies rather than seeing a tiny little used car lot on Triana Blvd. The whole vibe is different over there. I think it's going to be good for the business. I know it's easier on the guys having everything under one roof rather than spread out over three warehouses.
Plus, this was a chance for me to start over in my office and make some long overdue changes that seem to be improving my workflow and sanity. It's been much better and I feel like I'm getting out from under a pile of debris.
Creative stuff has been good. I've been doing a little more gaming/game design (working with my Gamestas on a game of cinematic action codenamed "RUSH" that I think will be a lot of fun...when it's streamlined.) The film/video projects are still rolling along. Had a meeting last night and we're thinking about making our partnership more official, focusing more on doing some development on different projects and seeing if we can't get some traction. Right now we're using the name "Fable Tree" and I'm excited about where this could go.
Won some weekend passes to Panoply, which is this Huntsville's annual Arts fair, so we'll there this weekend. Always see and hear at least three or four neat things that makes it worth the trip.
