Alcohol. - Incoming Rant...
Ok.
Just getting tired of the phrase 'Alcohol Induced' on tv news reports about yet another glassing or assault.
Look it wasn't the alcohol that made these people attack people. If it was, EVERYONE who drank would be turning in an agressive asshole!!!
I drink, sometimes I drink a lot, but I have NEVER randomly attacked someone or ever contemplated it.
Alcohol does change people, but it should be obvious, to anyone with have half a brain, that it does not affect everyone in the same way. It does remove inhibitions and self control, BUT ONLY if you are inhibiting and controlling your tendancies to be an asshole does it release one.
Speaking for myself what alocohol does for me is make me not care that I can't dance and be a little more extrovert than normal, makes me confident enough to do silly thinks that I would otherwise not be confident to do.
Oh and if these people know that when they are drunk they turn nasty, don't they have the sense of responsibility to NOT get drunk and release the asshole in them!!! Selfish bastards.
My personal, controversial, solution would be to brand people who are violent when drunk with a big * on their forehead and if they are caught trying to buy alcohol they sould go to jail.
And relax..
