Gangle, Gangle
I have put off updated for a long time because every time I attempted to do so my computer would inform me that my entry was backdated blah blah blah...
Besides that, things are looking rather nice...and it's all downhill after May 8ish...however prom is May 13 and State May 19.
We played a tournament this weekend. Molly and I both agree that the team has really come together and we're finally playing like a unit. The last couple of games were magic, our defense against Mercer was flawless...they simply did not know what to do. And we were down three starters the whole game! It was amazing.
Jeff also informed Molly, Anne and I that he's going going to start cracking down. He kept apologizing for not being there and enforcing a stricter schedule but I think the whole thing is just ridiculous. We're old enough to take the responsibility to be there ourselves. We shouldn't need Jeff's intimidating presence looming over us to make us show up and practice hard. Gah...it's all just silly, but whatever works I suppose. If we keep this good playing up, we'll have a reasonably good shot at State Title.
In other news, I got asked to prom by Alex Fermanis today. I told him that I wasn't quite sure what my plans were and that I needed to see what was going on in my group. In reality, I kinda want to go with another person...hopefully he'll ask me in some terribly romantic way in the next 48 hours but I never count my chickens before they hatch.
A.P. Test in less than two weeks ::STRESS::
Research paper due in two weeks to the day ::MORE STRESS:: Have not started...but my goal is to do a page a day for nineish days...we'll see.
Neil comes home soon and I'm super excited.
As sad as it is, I'm very much into Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. It really gets me pumped up....it's even making me smile right now :D
