I watched this in the Philippines with my cousin Mayeth and was just facepalming the entire time. As an anime fan, as a Janis Joplin fan, as a singer, as an American, as a girl - I am embarrassed. I've been vocally trained since childhood and I'm a huge J-culture fan, but you don't see me making an ass of myself this way... well, granted, it's funny to watch her get completely shot down, but at the same time it is just enraging because it makes the rest of us saner fans look so bad.

Well, at least I'm Asian (and an itty bitty bit Japanese. Like 1/32 probably... if white people can claim themselves 1/32 Native American, then I sure as hell can claim myself 1/32 Japanese XDDDD).

In happier news, has anyone seen Sho's An An photoshoot? Because UNF. I would hit it like the fist of an angry god. Must pop down to Kinokuniya before the Utada concert to see if they have copies yet. Also, GQ Man of the Year? I HELLA CALLED IT. Right when I got my GQ Japan with Matsujun as Man of the Year, Sho's load (uh huh huh huh huh, she said "load" uh huh huh huh huh) was beginning to increase, and I predicted that he'd make it into GQ next year, especially with the variety and prestige of his projects. Sho and Jun are my two favourites in Arashi, and I've always thought they were going to be GQ material as they got older - and now it's confirmed. <3

omgwtflol (literally), take a sho sho, turning japanese with joanne's otaku fam, good riddance, otaku! otaku da!
