We just watched the movie Das Experiment last night. It was a very good movie, but I found it fairly disturbing. Probably partially due to the fact that it is based on real life events (not literally, I am sure) and it did a fine job of not drifting too far from what feels like reality (mainly with the portrayal of the characters). I highly recommend it if you can find it in subtitled format - we had to download the movie and subtitles separately and use some special player to view it. It is worth the trouble to see it. Very thought provoking film that makes you wonder about the darker tendencies of the human psyche.
I have been getting into the recent Japanese horror films lately (Ringu, Ringu 2, Ringu 0). The people making these do a really good job of setting up a creepy atmosphere even when the movie is extremely slllloooooowwwwww in developing. We have a few that I haven't seen yet (The Eye, Dark Water, Battle Royale). I think we may have to do a high & horror marathon next weekend. :)
