Rabid Wombats, Awaaay!
Whew!
You know that feeling, right? When a rabid wombat dives for your jugular and you struggle as it tries to claw your face, then get a hang of its tail, dip it in paint, and swing it in front of a canvas while it thrashes? And then of course you and the wombat show up at the awards ceremony to accept your awards, dressed in matching tuxedos.
Well, that was my day. I am immensely proud of myself even though:
a) much of this satisfaction hinges upon the inexplicable reaction of a couple seriously incomprehensible dudes
b) the illness I struggled through today may have been little more than a misdiagnosed hangover (yes, ab fab I know)
c) the trials I struggled through are a long way from curing world hunger
But! I seem to remain immensely proud, anyway.
